Yesterday morning, the "Perceiving China, Knowing and Acting in China" Chinese and Foreign Youth Practice Group from Ningbo University entered Hengkantou Village in Liangnong Town, where over 20 Chinese and foreign students embarked on an innovative educational journey exploring rural revitalization.
Members of the practice group experienced the processes of sowing, planting, and harvesting at the "Hongxin" plant factory in Hengkantou Village, feeling the innovative power of technology on traditional agriculture. Kavan, a student from Iran, exclaimed, "The vegetables here have a short growth cycle and high quality, completely overturning my understanding of agriculture!" Sifting flour, digging holes, filling stuffing... In the traditional food workshop, members of the practice group learned the production skills of Ningbo's intangible cultural heritage, Liangnong rice cake, and tasted the sweet pastries they made themselves. The students also visited the Zhedong Red Village Tourist Service Center to learn about the history of the Anti-Japanese War.
In recent years, Liangnong Town has vigorously promoted the empowerment of rural revitalization through technology, embarking on an innovative path of revitalizing agriculture through technology and enriching farmers through industries by developing smart agriculture, cultivating characteristic industries, and creating cultural tourism brands. From the efficient agricultural model of the "Hongxin" plant factory to the modern inheritance of intangible cultural heritage such as Liangnong rice cakes, the deep integration of technology and culture is injecting strong impetus into local development.
