On May 29, nearly 100 experts and scholars from all over the country gathered in Simen Town to commemorate Yang Xianjiang, a firm communist soldier, an outstanding youth movement leader, an outstanding early Marxist education theorist in China and the first Communist Party member of Yuyao nationality. At the same time, they discussed and exchanged Yang Xianjiang's educational thought, theory and practice. Member of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party committee and Secretary of the Party committee of Simen Town attended and delivered a speech.
The activity is carried out in two stages. The morning is to commemorate the general assembly. The participants first watched the short film "commemorating the firm communist soldier - Yang Xianjiang" to further know and understand Yang Xianjiang. Entrusted by Zhang Jianhua, a professor of Tianjin University of Finance and economics and Yang Xianjiang's niece, Chen Ze, a teacher of Tianjin Institute of physical education and an expert on Yang Xianjiang's educational thought, made a keynote speech at the commemorative meeting. He summarized the basic connotation of Yang Xianjiang spirit into three aspects: firm position, imparting knowledge and educating people, and the unity of knowledge and practice, and pointed out that "the study of Yang Xianjiang spirit should not only summarize its spiritual connotation and form a system, but also pay attention to its value embodiment in current work practice", which undoubtedly provides ideas for Ningbo on how to better inherit the spirit of sages.
At the afternoon seminar, Professor Zhang Keqin of Ningbo Preschool Normal College and Dr. Fan Xiaomin of Tianjin Institute of physical education discussed and exchanged Yang Xianjiang's educational thought and theory; Ye Jiansong, principal of Simen Town Central Primary School, Zhang Zhuoqing, principal of Xianjiang primary school in Changhe Town, Cixi City, and Hu Haifeng, teacher of yangxianjiang middle school in Cixi City, shared and exchanged views on how to practice Yang Xianjiang's educational thought.
During the discussion and exchange, we said that we should deeply understand the important enlightenment and reference role of Yang Xianjiang's Educational Thought on China's educational modernization and educational reform and development, and encourage and guide the educational circles to explore new topics in educational theory and practice with new vision and new methods under the new historical conditions and new era background, Make new contributions to running education to the satisfaction of the people.
