Danshan Chishui is a nature reserve located at the central part of Siming Mountains, about 65 kilometers west of Ningbo city center. The area is a hidden gem that features deep rooted Taoist culture and beautiful mountainous scenery characterized by steep cliffs, deep gorges, clear river streams and dense forests. Right at the heart of the reserve is Shilin Village, one of the best preserved ancient villages in eastern Zhejiang Province.
