Yuyao Mould Industry Association, founded in November 1996 as a 5A-level organization, boasts 167 enterprise members, 39 council members and 14 vice chairman enterprises.

The mould industry boasts over 1,400 mould manufacturers, more than 45,000 employees and a sales income of over 13.2 billion RMB till 2006. Among all the mould enterprises, over 50 are producing moulds valued over 30 million RMB annually each, 3 are enterprises valued over 100 million RMB, 2 are entitled National Key Mould Enterprise and 7 are certified as Provincial Key Mould Enterprises.

The association organizes large-scale exhibitions, technological exchange meetings and industrial training programs each year and for now it is accelerating the implementation of the strategy of “Internet +” and of manufacturing-industry-first.
