Yuyao Energy Conservation Association, founded in September 2012 at No. 188 Yangming West Road, Yuyao, is composed of governmental departments who are in charge of energy conservation, energy saving research departments, energy conservation technology service departments, major energy-consuming enterprises and technicians and managers for energy conservation and is in the charge of Yuyao Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau. The association has 61 members, and out of whom 1 is Chairman Enterprise, 8 are Vice Chairman Enterprises and 20 are Council Members.

Business Scope:

1/ To advertise governmental policies on energy conservation, to carry out investigations in and researches on development planning for energy utilization, development of new energies, energy management, technological development for energy conservation and the development of energy conservation in other cities and provinces in China and overseas.

2/ To provide members with the information on science and technological and economic energy conservation both at home and abroad, to explore further information channels, to help members with nurturing and training of technicians and managers, to summarize, communicate and promote the energy conservation gains and management achievements made among its members, and to publicize Association Journals.

3/ To collect latest information on energy management, energy conservation technologies, new products and new materials, to provide energy conservation consulting, to promote energy conservation products and to evaluate enterprises energy conservation projects.

4/ To assist governmental institutions and relevant departments to fulfill investigations and tasks.

5/ To strengthen contact and communication with energy conservation associations in other cities, to broaden information channels, and to carry out relevant non-governmental communication and international exchanges and cooperation.
