Yuyao Industrial Design Federation, authorized by Yuyao Municipal Affairs Bureau, was founded in November 2010, and is affiliated to Yuyao Economic Development Bureau. Now the Federation has 32 member enterprises.

Business Scope:

1/ To carry out investigations and researches, to collect and sort out design technologies and their development trends both at home and abroad, to put forth planning for the development of industrial design, to promote the implementation of requirements of policies and decrees those are issued by governmental institutions, to put forward suggestions for compiling policies and to fulfill tasks that are deployed by governmental institutions;

2/ To strengthen industrial administration, to work out rules and specifications for the industrial design industry, to encourage fair competition, to coordinate members’ relationship, to establish self-discipline mechanism, to improve overall quality, to maintain overall profit and to supervise members’ implementation;

3/ To provide enterprises and government-affiliated institutions with consulting services on product design, packaging design, graphic design, advertising design, display design, environment design, image design and web design, etc., to organize experts for assessment of technologies and designs that are applied in key projects of great influence;

4/ To carry out international communication activities on technologies for industrial design, to invite global experts to present lectures, to carry out international design exhibitions and design competitions;

5/ To carry out training programs for industrial design talents;

6/ To establish economic entities that are related to industrial design, to increase income of the Federation for further self-development while providing consulting services for its members and the mass public as a whole;

7/ To protect intellectual property of industrial design and legitimate rights of the members of the Federation.
