2 years ago, the Administration Committee of the Sino-Italian Ningbo Ecological Industrial Park was set up. Now, the Industrial Park is developing in full swing. 11 projects have settled down and have been invested with over 20 billion yuan. 4 out of the 11 have already been put into production and the rest 7 are under development. Another 12 projects have been signed to take root in the Park with a total investment of over 8 billion yuan, and most of them are able to start construction before end of this year. It is quite possible that 10 more projects, to be invested with over 10 billion yuan, are to choose to settle down in the Park…

Being the only national ecological industrial park in Zhejiang Province and one of the 8 major national ecological industrial parks in China, the Sino-Italian Ningbo Ecological Industrial Park has been taken as a strategic pivot for a new round of development in Yuyao, Ningbo and Zhejiang as a whole by the Administration Committee of the Sino-Italian Ningbo Ecological Industrial Park. 

The Sino-Italian Ningbo Ecological Industrial Park has developed an industrial layout of “4+1+1”, i.e., 4 industrial bases of new energy cars, energy conservation and environmental protection, life and health care, and general aviation, 1 Sino-Italian TusPark and 1 area for demonstration of transformation and upgrading among local enterprises.

Upon the very basis, the Industrial Park innovated the way of introducing new projects with the guideline of “1 industry, 1 leading enterprise, 1 industrial fund and 1 supporting facility”. Thus, leading enterprises, such as Geely of the automobile industry, and CFGAC of the general aviation industry have been introduced into the Park; manufacturing bases have been introduced into the Park upon the basis of gathering together a group of R&D institutions and centers, and innovation teams.
