Ningbo began the publication of a monthly report on water quality on Tuesday, local authority said. The latest monthly report revealed that the water quality of the four major waterworks in November exceeds the national standard.
　　After nearly a year's preparation, the city's urban water management department lay out a program on publicizing the condition of water quality in Ningbo. From December 10, citizens can get the information about the water quality in Ningbo's urban districts from the monthly water quality reports published in "Ningbo Daily", a major local newspaper.
　　The report uses nine general indicators to provide a more detailed review of water quality in the four major water works as well as tap water in urban districts.
　　Report in November shows that water quality in the four major waterworks and tap water meet the national standard and no remains of disinfectant was detected, with its color, turbidity, oxygen consumption exceeding the national standard.
