China Light Industry (Yuyao) Moulds City is situated in the north of Yuyao city and it is an advanced mould industrial park, which integrates mould producing and processing, mould designing, the research and development of mould, technical training of mould, the service information of mould and trade of mould materials and equipments. Since 1996, China Light Industry (Yuyao) Mould City, through 8 years of development and construction, has taken shape and accumulatively introduced 658 mould manufacturers and related factories, forming a system of cooperation and labor division that features “marketing of mould materials—designing—manufacturing and processing—supplying the accessories—die setting”. There are two markets for mould materials trade, the total area of which is 46,000sq.m. More than 120 mould material manufacturers home and abroad, such as Baoshan Iron and Steel Company, Benxi Steel Plant, Ma’anshan Steel Plant, the Greatwall Steel Plant, etc, have set up selling points in the city, not only meeting the needs of the enterprises in the city but also radiating to the cities and towns around and even all the East China and making itself the largest mould material-oriented market in East China. In this city, there is an exhibition hall for the mould material and equipment with the total area of 4,600m². Since 1999, the National Exhibition of Mould Manufacturing Technique and Equipment has enhanced its popularity and boosted the development and construction of the city remarkably by inviting the guests and businessmen home and abroad to take part in this exhibition and hold business negotiations.
