Zhejiang Far East Industrial City is the project of tract development by the exclusive investment of Taiwan businessmen (part of the members in Taiwan Trade Association of Toys) and it is located in the south of Yuyao economic development zone. In the first stage of development, it took nearly 6 years to develop and construct the Far East Industrial City by transferring industrial land of totally 910 mou. The building area amounts to 499,000m2 in the aggregate with the actual investment of about RMB 1.5 billion. There are 66 settled enterprises, among which 5 of them have invested an amount of over USD 10 million and they are mainly from more than 10 countries and regions such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, UK, Australia, Korea, etc. Owing to the farsighted outlook, the unique concept, highly-aimed planning and high standard construction, the Far East City has become the well-known-far-and-near, garden-like exemplar industrial park and it is a visiting card for Yuyao to disseminate itself and a beautiful scenery in Yuyao. The area of the second around of development project is 886 mou, which will be divided in to the area of industry, the area of public construction, the area of matching business and residence occupancies as well as the area of matching business zone.
