Yesterday morning, Lin Ti, the deputy mayor and president of the Municipal Red Cross Society, led the staff of the Municipal Red Cross Society to visit and extend New Year's greetings to Jin Chunming, a hematopoietic stem cell donor for the 2025 program in our city.

Jin Chunming is the deputy director of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Office in Lizhou Subdistrict. On June 9 last year, he successfully completed the collection of hematopoietic stem cells, donating approximately 300 milliliters of hematopoietic stem cell suspension, bringing a chance of renewal to a patient with a blood disease and becoming the 24th unrelated hematopoietic stem cell donor in our city. Lin Ti and his delegation visited Jin Chunming's workplace, inquiring warmly about his physical condition and recent work, and expressed admiration and gratitude for his selfless dedication.

It is reported that this visit and care activity is a key component of the 2025 "Red Cross Love and Care for All" series of events in our city. During the activity, the municipal Red Cross Society allocated a total of 1.0134 million yuan in funds and organized visits to members' homes, delivering care to 2,048 Red Cross members, volunteers, hematopoietic stem cell donors, Red Cross emergency rescue team members, families of organ and body donors, financially distressed families in Red Cross Love and Care homes, and disaster- or illness-stricken groups in need of assistance. Additionally, the municipal Red Cross Society provided 31,000 yuan in scholarship funds and 168,800 yuan worth of aid supplies to Zhaojue County, Sichuan Province, allowing local residents to experience the deep friendship from Yuyao.
