On May 10, the municipal prevention and control office issued an announcement to adjust the city's epidemic prevention and control policies, strictly manage the personnel who come to and return to Yao, and implement the "mandatory inspection in public places".

The announcement made it clear that the accommodation, nucleic acid detection and meal expenses incurred by the domestic personnel with medium and high risks and the management personnel with reference to the medium and high risk areas during the centralized isolation period after their arrival in Yao shall be borne by themselves in accordance with the provisions of the provincial documents. Those who come to and return to Yao from low-risk areas outside the city shall report to the village (community), employer or hotel (hotel) in advance with a 48 hour nucleic acid negative certificate. People from low-risk areas outside Ningbo and districts (counties and cities) in Ningbo who have local epidemics within 14 days come to Yao and return to Yao consciously cooperate with the implementation of various prevention and control measures such as three times of nucleic acid detection on the first, second and third days after arriving in Yao. They are not allowed to enter public places or take public transport until the results of the first nucleic acid detection are available. Those who fail to perform nucleic acid detection within the specified time will be assigned a "yellow code".

The announcement stressed that it is necessary to cooperate with the 48 hour nucleic acid test in public places. All those who enter public places must provide the 48 hour negative nucleic acid test certificate, scan the site code and show their travel cards. No bus, taxi, Internet taxi or other public transport without 48 hour nucleic acid negative certificate. The elderly without smart phones shall go to the nearest nucleic acid sampling point for sampling with their ID cards, and enter public places or take public transport with the nucleic acid collection certificate within 48 hours after sampling.
