The Report of Physique of Population of Ningbo 2013 was recently released. This is the 2nd report after April 2012 when Ningbo released its first report of the physique of the population.
　　The report is the result of a sampling investigation of the sports and physique of the population between 20 and 60 in age. From June 2013, the population physique monitoring center started sampling investigation of the physique of the population in the city. The investigation was based on 1,789 samples (869 males, 869 females, 856 rural residents 933 urban residents). The results show that the comprehensive physique of the adult population of Ningbo is above the average of Zhejiang. However, compared with the results found in 2012, some indexes are slightly lower.
　　Similar results to the results of population of various ages are found: the physique of people between 20 and 39 are better than people of other ages; the physique of the people above 40 notably declines; the physique of the population between 40-59 maintains stable; After 60, the physique notably drops down again.
