On the afternoon of December 2, the land in the core area of China Plastic City，the site of former Yuyao North Bus Station, was bought by Huicong with 168 million yuan, the first B2B listed company in China. 3 billion yuan is estimated to invest in the project to build the first O2O industrial center in Zhejiang—China Huicong Household Appliance Industrial City. At the same time, the biggest household appliance trade fair will settle in Yuyao.
The construction of China Huicong Household Appliance Industrial City will be pided into three stages. The construction land exceeds 300 mu, the total building area over 500 thousand square meters. The land bought recently will the used in the first stage, occupying an area of 72 mu and with a total building area over 200 thousand square meters. Two household appliance cities will be built: the virtual online household appliance city will start in 2015; the other off-line household appliance city will be completed and be put into use in 2017. The household appliance city to be built will include: China International Purchase Center for Household Appliance, headquarter base, e-business headquarter base, China Household Appliance Museum, industrial supporting equipments, 4S service center for Huicong household appliance e-business.
The investment of Huicong in the project is driven by the remarkable advantages of Yuyao in plastic and household appliance industry and the great potential of the combined effects of the two industries. Yuyao China Plastic City and China Huicong Household Appliance Industrial City have signed agreements to co-build Yuyao E-business Industrial Park, which will be built as the biggest E-businesses park.
Besides, following the household appliance industrial city, the biggest household appliance trade fair in Asia will settle in Yuyao too, which will begin on March 27, 2015.
