Recently, the city security inspection, tourism, public security, transportation, health care, fire fighting, traffic control, quality supervision and inspection, customs and industrial and commercial authorities jointly carried out an all-around security and safety inspection in all tourist attractions, star hotels, travel agencies, happy rural life leisure centers as well as venues for all kinds tourist festivities, in order to eliminate the security loopholes, ensuring a happy and safe trip for all tourists during the upcoming golden week of National Day holiday.
This year’s National Day holiday marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the new China and coincides with the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, adding more festivity and high expectations to this longest Golden Week ever in history. Major tourism and scenic spots across the city are gearing up for the big days with a variety of exciting programs and activities with rich folk customs. During the Golden week, the Heaven of Jade will offer free fishing programs and more civilized worship ceremony celebrating the national holiday and mid-autumn festival and praying for peace and happy life. Red Mountain and Water scenic spots will feature a series of activities such as flag-raising ceremony in a small mountain village, crying out to the mountain and performance showcasing distinctive customs. A rich variety of activities such as open-air dinner party, Mid-Autumn moon admiring and Kara OK will be held in Siming mountain national forest park. Tourists can also enjoy community theatrical performances and seek funs in recreational activities on water at a temple fair featuring deep mountains and drifting facilities offered at Sichuang Rock. Meanwhile, Yunhe Drifiting Scenic Spots will put on a big promotion in celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, offering free experience tour for 60 tourists who have exactly the same birthday as the People’s Republic.
It was understood that there are also many tourist groups outside the city planning to come to Yuyao during the National Day holiday. Siming Mountain Travel Agency, which is specialized in managing trip in Yuyao, has reported near 200 tourist group already booked so far, with tourists coming from Shanghai, Jiaxing, Suzhou, Jinhua, Wenzhou, Taizhou and other regions.
From Step. 25th to 26th, near 100 tourist guides from Yangtze Delta Region took a fact-finding tour to Yuyao to explore tour route for next year’s World Expo. They were part of 1000 tourist guides participating in the Yangtze Delta Tourism Conference themed “Visit World Expo, Tour around Ningbo”, which was sponsored by Ningbo Tourism Bureau. During the conference, tourist guides from across the Delta Region will select the “10 most favorite tour routes in Ningbo during World Expo” and the best promotional line for Ningbo tourism. During the Shanghai World Expo, these tourist guides will introduce their most favorite routes to visitors from across the world.
In anticipation of a tourism surge during next year’s Shanghai World Expo, Yuyao, as one of the tourist destination in the “Expo Tour”, started its preparation at an early date and came up with several top tourism travel routes specifically chosen for “Expo Tour”, starting from the Expo Site of Shanghai and via Hangzhou Bay Bridge, extending to Hemudu Neolithic Ruins Museum, the Heaven of Jade and other scenic spots in the urban areas, or stretching to East Zhejiang Anti-Japanese base, Red mountains and rivers as well as other famous spots at the Siming Mountain.
